Description:

I have titled this originally as "The Waiting (Women of the Andes)" featuring an expectant mood shown in the face of a Peruvian woman anxiously waiting for something. I like to play with mystery of leaving out the obvious from the picture which stirs a lot of the beholder's imagination and emotions. The play of colors and blending of earth tones are my favorite features of this painting.
