Wooden figures from Jamaica. 19th-century artwork of ancient wooden figures discovered in Jamaica by Isaac Alves Rebello in June 1792. These three objects were found in a cave near the summit of a mountain. They had been placed with their faces (one of which resembled a bird) facing to the east. Published in Volume 14 (1803) of 'Archaeologia', the journal of the Society of Antiquaries of London.
