Painting - Oil On Stretched Canvas
Built in Wake County, in rural North Carolina. This mill served this area for over 200 years. Samuel Pearson was the mills original owner and founder. He owned and operated the mill till his death in 1802. At that time his property was divided among his six daughters and his son, Simon received the 340 acres that the mill was on. Unfortunately this had to be sold because of his debts to the bank. It was then purchsed by a prominent Raleigh Businessman and director of the bank.
