The widow wears a false smile, telling folks she is okay, when the reality is, she is beyond tired and dying inside. Living so close to death, unafraid of death, a skeleton hand is reaching into the spiritual realm w God, --the other hand is in the painful physical world. She is drawn to the light orb that is home, heaven, and where her husband, heavenly Father and savior lives. She wants to join them as her heart is ripped out and bleeding over her spouse's sudden death. One side is stark, dense dark trees of a forest of the new life she finds herself thrusted into. The other side is colorful and shows the beauty of the sun shinning in on her sadness. She knows there is light, hope and that keeps her going, even though she longs to go "home" ... she is looking for light here on this physical plane, w God's compassion, she finds it. I paint life as I live it; I do not hinder myself in anyway. For me, --Art is therapy where I bare my very soul. Painted from expression --for all the young widows that I have meet in my quest to aid those who have suffered loss. The charity is named: Life after Mike, and so it the upcoming book.
