Please read all rules before joining this group. Thank you.
This group is for photographs of wildflowers of the United States. This isn't for greenhouse or exotic plants or cultivars, it's for flowering plants that are native, or have become naturalized in the wild in the U.S. Please do not submit any images of flowers other than wildflowers fitting the description above, because I will reject them. I am an enthusiast, and know what is what.
No nude or otherwise indecent, or digitally enhanced images. Just photographs of American wildflowers. And please no snapshots.
You can submit as many as you like as often as you like, but please do not submit images that are actual or virtual duplicates.
The common and Latin name of the wildflower must be given in the image description. For photographs of a field of wildflowers, at least one or two prominent species should be identified. Please also include the month and state in which the photo was taken when possible. If you need help identifying a wildflower or finding the Latin name, or determining whether a particular species is a wildflower, you can find that under the discussion tab.
Images submitted which do not fit these guidelines will be rejected WITHOUT NOTICE. Members are therefore encouraged to check whether their images have been rejected, and to contact the administrator if they are unsure why. Thank you!
