The commercial fishing industry is vibrant throghout the world. Our gallery will take you from europe to Canada, down the Atlantic coast to Florida and the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico and then on the the Great Lakes, inland waters and the Pacific coast to Alaska. We are painting modern fishing vessels as well as those long past from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. This is truly a home port for all commercial fishing boats. We hope you will enjoy it.
The painting on the left is my rendition of dory trawling for Haddock aboard a Gloucester schooner on Georges Banks from an old sketch. The last dory is coming alongside to be hauled aboard while the crew straightens our and baits the trawls and the camtain's Newfoundland Dog looks on.
