This is a group for color photographs in which some or all of the color has been significantly altered.
This is not a group for selective color, in which a primarily black and white picture has an item or items with color left in it - unless, of course, the remaining color is recognizably unnatural, or for photographs that have been converted to b&w or sepia. This is not a group for drawings or paintings with unusual color treatment.
But if you cannot resist heavily treating your photographs to the point where the subject is still recognizable but the color is really off - and by 'off' I don't mean, for instance, changing a boat or a bicycle from blue to red, but instead changing the natural color of a face or a flower from what it really is to something it really should not be - then this group is for you. Not required, but it would be nice if you would share some of your process or at least what program or programs you used with the group so that others might pick up some tips. The main thing is to be creative and have fun.
UPDATE: A lot of wonderful photographs are coming through that have clearly enhanced coloration but not to the point where the door is really 'off' as originally requested. I am going to soften the rules about that and allow photos that have been creatively enhanced to change or saturate the color treatment. This takes the definition of 'Alteration' in the group title down a notch from no longer 'normal' more into the range of normal in hue but where there is discernible color treatment in strength or tone.
