New Collection!

Hi, Group!

Here are two pieces from my new 'Oxidation Collection' -- 12 images created from a few photographs of a rusty, abandoned tractor.

Ahhh, the joys of photo-manipulation -- where it pays to hang on to every capture!

Working on this collection, plus the related video and various marketing materials, has made for an exciting 6 weeks. I love it when a plan comes together! ;-)

Amazing work! Any of it sell yet? My fave is "The Hitchhiker".

Thanks, A M -- I appreciate your taking the time to have a look!

Locally, I've sold Re-coiled 1 and 2 (twice), Zoned and Torso. None of the others were offered for sale, until I posted them all on FAA over the weekend.

Online, no sales . . . yet. ;-) I'm having crazy PC problems, but will try to publish a blog post tonight and a newsletter and press release in the next few days. Hopefully, that will help garner some interest.

Finally got the video posted:

terrific images Wendy J! Good luck with sales for them. I have some rust collage type images that are some of my personal favorites, but have not sold once here on FAA.

I'm in the process of cleaning up and organizing my house. After I do that, I'll be able to scan some of the work I've done over the past few years, much of which is in the decay and rust genere.

@Ann -- Thank you! I know what you mean; there seems to be no rhyme or reason to what sells where. I've also noticed that some of my best sellers in the real world don't move at all, online -- and vice versa.

It often seems that my very favorite work is, apparently, something only a mother could love! :-)

@A M -- I'd like to get a good scanner, so I can work with some of my old photos and negatives. On my endless list of 'Things To Do'!

I sell quite a few prints at First Friday but I think if I'm going to sell anything here, I need to promote myself more and add more images.
