Photos-best Of Minimalism In Photography
This group was started on September 8th, 2013 and currently has:
Think in terms of the 'essence' of a thing or place, without a lot of conflicting colors or lines. Please know what Minimalism is before uploading any works to this group! You can refer to our first group for examples: Minimalism in Photography at this link: http://fineartamerica.com/groups/minimalism-in-photography.html?tab=overview.
You may also refer to this group for examples of excellent minimalism:

Features are chosen by the group Members. Once an image has been chosen three (3) times in the Pick of the Day in the group discussion threads, the Administrator will move the work into the feature category. This is also how the Artist of the Month is chosen.
Not all images will be accepted into the group. The administrator is the only 'jury' member making the decision to accept or reject an image. If a work is deemed to not fit the 'minimalism' concept, it will not be included. This group is for the Best of Minimalism in Photography, so it may be an example of minimalism, but unless the administrator considers it to be among the best as both photograph and minimalism, it will not be included. This is a subjective issue, admittedly, but we have to have some limits.
You may only upload two images per day to the group. The idea will be to draw people to your artwork site, not to hold thousands of images in the group, most of which will not be seen if they are too far back in the pack. Therefore, the administrator will, at least once a year, thin the images from the group.
If you have any questions, please feel free to write to me.
