The Polish fine art used to be quite conservative and typical for the North-eastern Europe. The bulk of art trade in Poland is currently focused on several well-established twentieth century (or earlier) names and their followers. It seems that the situation changes and a new wave is finally coming across the Polish fine art scene.
A new trend represented by two artists, Zofia Kijak and Pawel Polisiak, has emerged which is characterized by fascination with color. The artists of this "color revolution" use vivid hues and their works are filled with light and radiate with happiness. This "joie de vivre" is the artists' response to the current situation of young visual artists in Poland.
In the United States both artists currently represented under the name Kijak&Polisiak Gallery by Art Fusion Galleries, Miami, FL, www.artfusiongallery.com
