"Sian Red" was Juried and selected to be purchased to then go up for auction at the 7th Calgary Timeraiser at Flames Central...I have attached below the copy of my acceptance letter. As the "original" fabric print is now sold the last chance for you to get that piece is to be present at the event(details below) and bid your volunteer time to win it! Thank you for submitting your application to the 2012 Calgary Timeraiser. We greatly appreciate your support in helping us promote volunteerism among Canadians in their twenties and thirties.
I am happy to inform you that your art piece has been selected to be purchased! Click here to view the artwork to confirm your piece. This year we will be distributing over $20,000 to artists in Calgary, bringing our total investment in Canadian artists to over $650,000

Your application was thoroughly reviewed and rated by our volunteer Art Jury. This Jury operates at arms-length from the staff at Timeraiser and its members are recruited for specific expertise regarding local, emerging and mid-career artists, as well as on the tastes of our target demographic. Individual applications were evaluated by all members of the Jury. In deciding the final selections, several factors were considered. These factors included focusing on emerging and mid career Canadian artists, the work's appeal to the Timeraiser demographic (young professionals in their 20s and 30s), and a fair representation of all mediums and styles of visual art.
Once again we appreciate your support and look forward to working with you as we prepare for the 7th Calgary Timeraiser.
