This is a beautiful painting! The artist knows my husband and we were so excited to bring one of her pieces of art into our home! It's beyond what we expected! It is part of the background when I do virtual meetings (which I am in all day long) and I get so many compliments on how beautiful my "virtual backdrop is". When I tell people that it's my actual office, they always comment on the art!

Love this painting and so many compliments as it's in a treatment room where my husband is a Chiropractor. His patients love it!

The Lion And Lamb painting is absolutely beautiful and very anointed. It speaks such peace to me. We have been furnishing a missionary apartment and as soon as I saw this picture I knew it was the one! I know it will minister to each missionary that stays in our apartment just like it ministers to me.

She is very like my sweet Emma and I bought it in memory of her. Emma's room is now my office but the painting makes clear that it is still, first and foremost, kitty space. This piece comforts my heart every day. Emma has been gone for a year and I miss her incredibly.
Artist's Description
Getting up at Sunrise in the Spider Rock Campground, in Canyon De Chelly, Navajo, National Park, in the Navajo Nations. The red dust in the area had settled on the tree, so it picked up the colors of the sunrise, grabbed my camers and captured this so you can see what its like to be there....
Canyon de Chelly National Monument was established on April 1, 1931 as a unit of the National Park Service. It is located in northeastern Arizona within the boundaries of the Navajo Nation. Reflecting one of the longest continuously inhabited landscapes of North America, it preserves ruins of the early indigenous tribes that lived in the area, including the Ancient Pueblo Peoples (also called Anasazi) and Navajo. The monument covers 83,840 acres (131.0 sq mi; 339.3 km2) and encompasses the floors and rims of the three major canyons: de Chelly, del Muerto, and Monument. These canyons were cut by streams with headwaters in the Chuska mountains just to the east of the monument. None of the...

What a beautiful image. We are actually planning on a stop there in about a month. How interesting your description as we have never been there before. I look forward to it.
Bob and Nadine Johnston replied:
We stayed in a Hogon that was over 100 years old. The construction is amazing, to hold up all the dirt on the roof. Keeps it cool on hot days, and warmer on cold ones.

Due to the red dust from the day before, which had settled on the Tree and branches in Canyon De Chelly, Navajo, National Park, the color of the sun is picked up in these and other areas. The night before, was complaining about all the dust, raised by too cattle hearding dogs that were romping around in the Campsite... Glad we gave them some water, as they looked quite thirsty. 8)
