A B-2 Spirit of the US Air Force flies the flag. Known more commonly just as "The Stealth Bomber", the B-2 is the most expensive - and deadliest - aircraft in the US Air Force Inventory. During the 2003 Gulf War, B-2s took off from their base in Missouri (Whiteman AFB), flew to Iraq and back, in a single mission, proving to any who still doubted that the US has the ability to power project anywhere on the world, should need arise.
Stu Shepherd has been an aviation illustrator for nearly twenty years. His work is mostly known by box cover art on aircraft model kits made by Revell and Monogram models, for whom he has done over 150 images. Stu has also worked in the Computer Game and Internet Community industries. While the main body of his work revolves around aviation subjects, he is also creates art in the Science Fiction and Fantasy Genres, with his strength in spaceship design and environments. He lives in Modesto, California.
