"Black Dahlia" is a commemorative sculpture of Elizabeth Short. It is made of two fabricated steel components that create a torso. Between the two torso components there is a copper dahlia with a black patina. The sculpture is mounted on two fabricated, painted black steel bases. Copyright 2010

Each generation has had rebels and artists that have attempted to find their own voice within the context of the humanity they live in. My statements or art objects are attempts to focus humanity on compassion, which I believe is a higher form of understanding.
