Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Chlamydia trachomatis bacteria, TEM. Coloured transmission electron micrograph (TEM) of Chlamydia trachomatis bacteria (blue/turquoise)inside a cell (brown/pale green). These spherical bacteria are human parasites and live only inside an inclusion (white) in cells. Chlamydia trachomatis causes various types of genital, eye and lymph node infections. It causes sexually transmitted diseases non-specific urethritis (NSU) affecting the urogenital tract and lymphogranuloma venereum (enlarged lymph glands). It also causes trachoma eye disease, a leading cause of blindness. It is treated with antibiotic drugs. Magnification x2000 when printed 10cm wide.
