This image was taken at the Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary in Orr, Minnesota. This is a cinammon phase of black bears. There is a small creek in the Sanctuary. During summers when there is water in this creek, it is a very popular cooling of place for the bears. Of course, it's a photographer's delight when this happens!!
I am a retired school teacher and have more time to devote to photography. My wife and I live in northern Minnesota. We try and visit Yellowstone National Park twice a year. My current project (my wife says obsession!) has been spending the last five years photographing small birds in flight. The most frustrating thing I have attempted but the most rewarding.
Thanks for looking.
