Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Elaidic acid. Computer model of a molecule of elaidic acid, a trans fatty acid. Atoms are represented as spheres and are colour-coded carbon (blue), hydrogen (gold) and oxygen (red). This is the major trans fat found in hydrogenated vegetable oils. It is the trans isomer of oleic acid. Trans fatty acids raise levels of bad (LDL) cholesterol in the blood and their consumption may contribute to heart disease.
