.... At the high overlook
in the Chilhowee Recreation Area,
the view of sunset
is outstanding.
Part of the
Cherokee National Forest
and above the Ocoee River
and Parksville Lake,
this area is so beautiful.
There is a high mountain lake
just below this overlook
where many of the trails begin.
The campground is located
just adjacent to the lake
and is a lovely natural place
to camp with the family.
The Benton Falls trail
leads to a high mountain
waterfall, Benton Falls,
and is one of the
prettiest trails
and waterfalls
in this area
of Tennessee.
