This is a macro photograph of a lily (Chicago Fire) growing in one of my flower beds. I love lilies for their bright and intense colors as well as their delicate details.
Lilium (members of which are true lilies) is a genus of herbaceous flowering plants growing from bulbs, all with large prominent flowers.
