The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

House designed by Robert Bradford Browne for the family of John Vereen, and constructed in 1961. The design was considered bold in its use of Y-shaped pillars for nearly complete structural support. The structure no longer exists.
