Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. Artist's Description
Thyroid gland blood vessels. Coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of a resin cast of blood vessels in the thyroid gland. The smallest blood vessels, capillaries, are coiled around individual secretory areas known as lobes (rounded structures). Larger blood vessels bring blood to and from the capillaries. This network of vessels exchanges gases, hormones and nutrients with the gland tissue through the permeable walls of the capillaries. The thyroid gland, part of the endocrine system, lies at the base of the neck. The hormones it secretes into the bloodstream control metabolism and growth. The cast was made by injecting resin into the blood vessels. The surrounding tissues were then chemically digested.
