Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

"Trees in the Fog"

... In the Smoky Mountains,
there are so many small farms.
The trees in this image were captured in the morning mists, up on the hillside of a North Carolina pasture. Wisps of fog float over the scene in the early morning, the rising sun trying to break into the mist, illuminating the tumble of fallen leaves scattered over the grass and side of the mountains. This is the western North Carolina edge of the Blue Ridge mountains, part of the Appalachians on a rural country road. Travel the back roads and enjoy the quaint and interesting scenes that pass by or stop by our gallery from time to time to enjoy our captures of these beautiful spots!
