About the Artist - Joose Hadley

Joose Hadley

Joose was born and raised in California where she graduated from Sacramento State College and taught high school English until 1984. Then she left teaching, moved to Nevada and did some free lance writing for small magazines. But when she was paid more for her pen and ink illustrations than from the articles she wrote, she pursued her love of art. She became President of the Pershing County Artists' Assoc. and won many art awards at competitions, sold her paintings at shows and one of her watercolors was selected by the Nevada Cattlemen's Association for their calendar. She met her husband in 1986 and moved back to Sacramento in 1988 where she started her own art business, "Joose Arts". In 1995 they moved to Florida where they opened an...
