After his hard labor day,this farmer is smoking his pipe. He is waiting for supper. His wife is preparing the ragout in the background. She peels the potatoes to put the last. Ragout is a well seasoned soup. It is made of meat (mostly cow feet) and vegetable. The cooking pot is being supported by five big rocks. Underneath of it is the source of fire. The fire is made from twigs. A small container of water is resting nearby on a rock, just in case she needs to add more water to the mixture.
