This is a portion of the Yakima Valley which is in the state of Washington. This summertime view is looking northeast through Franklin Park, which is located on Tieton Drive. Franklin School is the large building in the center while the Yakima Valley Museum is the red brick building on the right.
I've lived in Alaska since 1986, moving here from my hometown of Yakima, Washington. My wife Becky and I have two grown children and 6 grandchildren, all of them living near us here in Wasilla.
I have been a carpenter, cabinet maker, newspaper publisher, printer, sales person and, of course, a photographer.
Recently semi-retired I now have the time to pursue my photography with more zeal since I'm no longer saddled with a full time job and a family to support. It's something I wish I'd been able to do 20 or 30 years ago.
Thank you for visiting my gallery.
