Taken on the sixteenth hole of South Philadelphia's sixteenth green, this is one of the reasons I would usually ride around the course prior to cutting the greens...my "rolling inspections" of the course have given my work new direction, and a host of photographic oppurtunities.

I'm living in South Philadelphia working at two different city owned golf courses. I grew up in a family of artists in North Carolina and still occasionally show with them in Asheville. I am primarily a photographer, but I do paint some, generally with a large digital art tablet. I also have done some metal sculpture (I weld, oxy, MIG, TIG, stick) and some blacksmithing. My passion is the landscape, but increasingly I have embraced the challenge of showcasing golf venues and their architecture. It's a lanscape of a different nature...instead of a person for scale, as in classical landscapes, you get a flagstick (or a golfer or two).
