 Featured Here Is A Rare And Important Map Of Florida Issued For Gentleman’s Magazine In 1763 To Describe The New Territories Of British Florida. The Map Depicts The Provinces Of East And West Florida As They Emerged Following The Treaty Of Paris That Ended The French And Indian War. The Treaty Ceded To The British Control Of Most Of The North America Territory East Of The Mississippi River. The Treaty Included An Agreement With Spain To Exchange Cuba For Florida. The British Quickly Set Up Two New Provinces Divided By The Apalachicola River. West Florida Comprised The Territory Between The Apalachicola River And The Mississippi River. East Florida Included Most Of The Peninsula Of Florida. The Division Was Intended By The British To Reduce Conflicts Between Colonists And The Native Americans Of The Region By Outlawing English Settlement (except For The Coast) West Of The Apalachicola River. Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Featured here is a rare and important map of Florida issued for Gentleman’s Magazine in 1763 to describe the new territories of British Florida. The map depicts the provinces of East and West Florida as they emerged following the Treaty of Paris that ended the French and Indian War. The treaty ceded to the British control of most of the North America territory east of the Mississippi River. The treaty included an agreement with Spain to exchange Cuba for Florida.
