Painswick Rococo Garden is one of only a few remaining gardens restored to an eighteenth century Rococo design in the United Kingdom. Covered in snow and viewed with a slight sepia hue it suddenly felt like I had been somewhere enduring and old, even though the current incarnation is an ongoing restoration started in the 1980s.

Like many, my interest in photography was sparked as a child by my parents; both of whom were keen amateur photographers. I had a choice between being bored as they took forever to get from a to b taking pictures of anything and everything or join them. My parents were wise to this and ensured that I was equipped with a camera early on. There was then a prolonged gap when I left home, where I took hardly any photographs at all. Then came the digital age and my interest was rekindled. So here I am now, since getting a D-SLR my camera and I have been pretty much inseparable.
