Dietrich was a close friend to Edsel Ford, Dietrich himself held 50% of the stock in Dietrich, Inc. and did substantial styling work for standard bodies for Packard, Franklin, Studebaker and Lincoln (then headed by Edsel Ford) Raymond Dietrich was a design consultant with Packard with most of Packard designs attributed to him
