FAA WATERCOLOR MARK DOES NOT APPEAR ON FINAL SALES
While attending one of the most prestigious Classic Car Shows on Long Island, New York at Morgan Park, New York located in Glen Cove, New York on the north shore of Long Island right on the water, I came across this mint conditioned 1962 Chrysler Hemi Roadster which set NHRA Racing Records in 1963, 1964 and 1966. This top fuel dragster was owned and driven by George Snizek who happened to be at the show and who I had the pleasure of meeting and talking to him about his fantastic roadster. This car was built very compact with the large mag wheels on the rear and the spoke smaller front tires in the front, with the exhaust pipes (4) on each side of the car's frames. Nicknamed the Tasmanian Devil for it's speed and ability to intimidate other drivers. This car before being retired set over 150 records. Pacers Auto was a popular, record-setting drag racing team in the early 1950s and 1960s.
