The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).
All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

Magical and mysterious, the Black Swan floats forever in the early morning light. This fountain pen and ink drawing is from my series on the Australian wetlands. A homage in deep time to the disapearing ponds and swamps, using many colours of archival ink.

About Helen Duley
Hi to everyone My series of numinous reflections upon Australian Wildlife are coloured pencils and fountain pen drawings on paper. My father, a drover (cowboy) and forestry worker from remote Gipsland , Victoria, Australia taught me how to see and love the tall treed mountains, and fertile wetlands of our home country. They are also a Remembering of my father, a stockman ( Americans would have called him Cowboy, I think). He drove cattle all through the Snowy Mountains, and for thousands of miles up the Eastern coast of Australia. He taught me about the bush, and to know the birds and animals who belong there. Above all, I remember the lonely cries and the dark fleeting forms of swans that haunted my childhood , elusive as the element...

Helen...this magnificent tribute reminds me of the wild white swans that glided in a marshy lake beneath my husband’s corporate apartment years ago...I would periodically fly in to cook, stock his freezer with Favorites and that would be my early morning view by the prep counter window overlooking the lake... it was magical, ethereal...and the white swan would be lost into the reeds of a new dawn’s golden shimmer. ..a memory bookend to this dark swan’s emergence from the wetland reeds into the moonlight!... breathtakingly beautiful...the eyes of my heArt momentarily suspend in DEEP TIME And in WONDERment!
