Hello to everyone. I'm Canadian, born and raised in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia,with a long career in radar,communications,and computers.Retired at 74. Scion of a Grand Banks schooner captain and a merchant mariner,I love the ocean. I started using 35mm.color in 1950.Favourite camera was an Exakta Varex.Switched to digital around 1998. My favourite subjects are sailing ships, ocean liners, the sea, forest,mountains..maybe I should just say "nature". In the past I've written articles for a number of magazines, illustrating them with my own photos. I love photographing whatever appeals to me or happens to catch my eye. Almost all of my images are of Canada, though I probably specialize more on the Atlantic and Pacific Coasts and the...
