...On a beautiful early afternoon, the sky was a brilliant luster of light, sprinkled with interesting clouds. The sand on this beach is so white. This is Jekyll Island on the coast of South Georgia. The dunes and sea grasses are protected on this natural island, the fencing layered into the dunes to keep the sand from blowing away and shifting in the coastal breezes. The tropical winds create a pretty pattern in the sand dunes and the grasses are glowing in the late winter sunshine...Presented here in a black and white fine art style to show off the interesting textures in the scene and in a new format closer to a square in an 8x10 format...
