Male uro-genital system, artwork. The organs are shown in the relative positions they would occupy within the body. At upper right is the bladder, which receives urine from the kidneys (not seen) through the ureters (tubes descending from top right). Below the bladder are the male reproductive organs. The penis (lower left) includes the urethra that is used to remove urine from the body. At lower centre are the testes, which produce the male sex cells (sperm). The sperm are carried to the penis from the testes by the vas deferens tubes, which are seen looping past the bladder. Along the way, they gather secretions from seminal vesicles (pink) and the prostate gland (dark red), both below the bladder.
