About the Image

2013 Oct Coyote on the Move by Rick Grisolano Photography LLC

This coyote was walking on the opposite side of the creek I was sitting on. The brush was pretty thick and I was just able to catch this shot before he disappeared. Taken on Swan Lake National Wildlife Refuge.

About the Artist - Rick Grisolano Photography LLC

Rick Grisolano Photography LLC

In the Mid 1980's, I took up photography as a hobby. My primary focus at that time was Wildlife with Landscape, Nature, & Old Farm Buildings of Mid Missouri being secondary. Of course at that time most serious photographers were still using Slide film for quality photos. Digital photography had not yet come into it's own as it has now. In the late 1990's I sold off my semi-professional equipment and had to focus the cost more on training for my job so I could improve my performance in an increasing IT environment. I also took all the quality slides I had of wildlife and gave them to the local National Wildlife Refuge and relinquished any copyrights I had. Because of that, I don't have any of the very best work that I did in that time...
