Artist's Description
Head and neck anatomy, computer artwork. The skull is cut-away to show the cerebral cortex (pink, folded) and the cerebellum (pink, striped) of the brain. The cerebellum controls muscle coordination and balance. Nerves, including the cervical (neck) section of the spinal cord (enclosed in vertebrae), are deep yellow. Arteries are red, veins are blue, and lymph vessels are bight yellow.
