I like the case one of a kind
Spider web construction. Computer trace of the movements made by a spiny backed spider or spiny orb- weaver Gasteracantha cancriformis as it constructed its silk web. The red lines show the spider's path as it formed initial structures such as anchor threads. Yellow lines relate to the construction of the web's radial threads, white lines to the temporary (auxiliary) spiral and blue lines to the sticky spiral used to capture prey. The web is constructed at an angle of 45 degrees from the vertical. This work was carried out at the University of Basel in Switzerland using a video camera attached to an image scanning device.
