The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Artist's Description
MODEL RELEASED. DNA extraction experiment. Teenage boy adding chilled ethanol to the sample vial as part of an experiment he is carrying out at home to extract DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) sampled from himself. The experiment involves using a buccal swab to obtain cheek cells, adding enzymes and using a warm water bath (50 degrees Celsius) to break down the cell membranes. The sample then has ethanol (chilled in an ice bath) added to precipitate the DNA. The DNA can then be sent for testing and further analysis.
