MODEL RELEASED. Collecting evidence. Forensics officer using forceps to collect a strand of hair from an item of clothing. This evidence may help link a suspect to a crime scene. The hair can be analysed for DNA, which can be compared to that of a suspect or a victim of a crime. The officer is wearing protective clothes and using gloves to prevent contamination of the crime scene and the evidence.
