DAVID LIVINGSTONE (1813-1873). Scottish missionary and explorer. Being carried through the region of the Bangweulu Swamps, in present-day Zambia, shortly before his death, April 1873. Wood engraving after Johann Baptist Zwecker from an American edition of Livingstone's 'Last Journals in Central Africa,' 1875.
