About Yvette Pichette
I was born and raised in Syracuse, NY. In the 1970's I started traveling around the country by either car or hitch-hiking. I have traveled to every state except for Alaska and Maine. I also lived in a covered wagon in the early 70's in Nevada and Arizona. Ever since I was very little, I have enjoyed one art form or another. As a child I was taught how to embroider. I have always loved to draw and used to design clothes for my paper dolls. I have explored many art forms such as oil painting, colored pencils, pen and ink, stained glass, pottery, wood burning, pine needle baskets, etc, etc, etc. A little over 20 years ago a friend taught me how to make beaded earrings using seed beads and I fell in love with it.
