Artist's Description
In south-western Alberta, Canada, south of Banff National Park, is an area called Kananaskis Country, a region of wild mountains, forests, pristine lakes, and wildlife. Accessed from the town of Canmore via a gravel road called Spray Lake Trail, the area is protected by several Provincial Parks, and is largely the way it was created. This view was taken across Spray Lake, facing the Continental Range, part of the Rocky Mountains. The day was cold, windy, wet, even flakes of snow, with heavy weather clouds and a wonderful feeling of being very much alone with the raw side of Nature. Quite literally, awesome.

What a wondrous and divine scenic capture, George! It is so majestic looking, with the mountains, with the snow covered peaks, and the dark clouds, and the large body of water as the perspective leading to the magnificent! Superbly captured,George! Thanks for sharing this beauty!
George Cousins replied:
Hi Randy..many thanks my friend, you're very supportive and I really appreciate your detailed critiques. I have a "thing" for those dramatic, rather brooding wilderness shots, they seem to bring out the wild remote Nature that has a distinct type of beauty.
