My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

Artist's Description
My recent trip to New York City was plagued with bad weather and difficult traveling conditions. During my first day traversing the city, I spent an hour or so in Times Square trying to get a few memorable shots but the snow was making it impossible to keep my equipment dry. There I was at the epicenter of one of the worlds largest cities, fumbling with a tripod and constantly wiping the moisture off my fish-eye lens. Even though the area is a huge tourist trap, I remember thinking that I must look like a fish out of water, especially because I was shooting straight up into the cloud-covered sky. Despite my own self-perceptions, I must have looked like I knew what I was doing because I was constantly approached by people who who eager to hand over their cameras and ask if I could take a picture of them.
As the snow continued to fall, I came to the conclusion that my time in Times Square might be a lost cause. Each time I reviewed my photos, I immediatel...

Hi Joshua, great job. I love the perspective & colors in this image. I like your other images, especially the grunge ones, the escalator empathy, etc. Very nice work. Just curious, what lens did you use for A Square Perception? Regards, Doug Sturgess
Joshua Ball replied:
Hello Doug. Thank you for the kind comments. For this particular photo, I used a 10-17mm Tokina fisheye. It's by far my favorite lens.
