Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

If you every visit the Long Beach Peninsula make sure you walk this wonderful trail. You have chance to see many different type of wildlife and beautiful view of the coastline.
The Discovery Trail on Washingtons Long Beach Peninsula crosses a broad Pacific beach, grassy dunes, seaside forests and postcard-ready ocean bluffs.

You will also gain a new appreciation for the compelling history of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. The 8.5-mile Discovery Trail joins the popular vacation town of Long Beach on the north end of the peninsula and the historic fishing village of Ilwaco near the mouth of the Columbia River to the south.
Unlike many trails that connect towns, this one does not parallel the highway in si...
I am a retired teacher, coach, and athletic director. While my wife, Judy, and I were teaching she had a photo studio, and I had a dark room where I did black and white and color. Some were for the studio while most of it was just a hobby. When we retired in 2000, we sold our house in Eastern Washington and moved onto our boat, Last Class, and our motorhome. We sold Last Class a few years ago and bought a small house in Yuma, Arizona and bought another one in Emmett Idaho. Now we spend the summers in Emmett and the winters in Yuma. Over our 50 years of marriage, we have always had an interest in photography and both of us enjoy taking the photos for this site. I have always used Cannon cameras and now I am using the 7D for most of the...
