When I started my photography career, I knew that I wanted to take my images further than the click of a shutter so I built a darkroom in my home and explored my creativity under a red light. When digital photography arrived on the scene, I came out of the dark and into the world of pixels and possibilities. Today, I take my images even further with paint and mixed media. I use layers, texture and contrast to create complex images of every day things, places and people. Hints of the past and the present play together to tell my visional stories.
