On the right is the Leeway Sailing Center. The Leeway Sailing and Aquatics Center has had "the wind at it's back" throughout its long history. Founded in 1929 to teach local youth the basics of sailing, the Leeway Sailing and Aquatics Center is regarded as one of the premier municipal instructional sailing programs in the country. The Center's mission is to provide a fun, safe aquatic experience, and to teach good sportsmanship and water safety. Along with quality sailing instruction, board sailing, kayaking, wind surfing and canoeing are also taught.
Also docked are the canal boats that are rowed though the canals of Naples Island.
I have a long-standing interest in photography. I had my first camera since before my teens. I used a (Minolta) film camera up until about 8 years ago when my camera failed to function while on a trip to Yellowstone National Park. Although a little intimidated, I then ventured into the world of digital photography and I've never looked back. My passion is nature.
