About Nancy Chenet
I was born and raised in Ohio and have always been coloring, sketching or painting since I was in grade school. In high school many friends and family members commissioned me to draw portraits and I did sketching at our fairs and community events, as well. I entered the Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio after HS, and was in the first accredited graduating class, receiving my BFA degree, majoring in Advertising and Illustration. From Columbus, I migrated to Orlando to learn a new trade with a stained glass company from Canton that was contracted to do a few windows at Disney World (Cinderella's castle and Haunted House) and several churches. Better suited for drawing, I moved on to doing Fashion layout for a dept....
