This is an outstanding piece of work. The aura of Powell River with its resident fishing boats is portrayed beautifully. The vessel “Shirley” is very thought provoking to me personally.

You can call me bar creep, he said, smiling that half-crooked grin of his. That was my first contact with Bruce. Over time, I came to know him as the resident funny-guy, always good for a joke, or one-liner, in his small hometown of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin. A carpenter by trade, Bruce struggles to stay employed. Despite recent economic and health setbacks, Bruce is the first to make you laugh at his local tavern.
About Antonia Posey
I am a self-taught artist working primarily in oils. For as long as I can remember, I have used art to gain a better understanding of my surroundings and build emotional connections with others, something that has been difficult for me over the years. Each piece of art I create tells a story, because I believe every persons experience of life informs us and brings us closer together as human beings. While painting has always been my passion, I only recently returned to art after many years in graduate school and working full time as a law enforcement officer.
