Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

I must say this was THE most incredible experience of my life to see the Acropolis in Athens Greece in person. Nothing can describe the feeling of seeing how old these ruins are and how talented these ancient people were to have built this structure that still stands today from the 5th Century BC! Oh my gosh... astonishingly amazing. I would like to give credit to my departed husband who took this original photograph when we both discovered Greece together about 14 years ago. He was an architect and became overwhelmed with the early history that he studied for for years and finally got to see in person. I just recently took his original photo and basically transformed it into a digital painting by using textures and a digital paintbrush. He would be proud of me, I believe. So this rendering is in dedication to him, Clifton Dean Angstadt, (1955-2006)
