Anima � 2008 This is a self-portrait of the things I am composed of. The girl is there because I love women; there�s no such thing as enough. She has black hair which represents darkness and the �gothic� outlook I have on life (I say gothic, but that�s just a very loose term to give you an idea of what I mean. More accurate would be �realistic,� but how would I represent that with hair color?). Obviously she�s nude. This is not because I like drawing nudes (although I do, very much) but is representative of purity and innocence. Priscilla Vogelbacher is an autodidact, talented in the traditional arts, music and writing. A self-taught artist, she has been drawing since the age of five. An avid and highly regarded art student her entire life, what you see in her traditional work is the result of trial and error. Her unique style brings forth emotion and life rarely seen in portraiture. Her passion lies in charcoal and graphite drawing, specializing in emotional conception.
